Ozon denies reports on massive lay-offs, says recruits staff

MOSCOW, Apr 19 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Ozon has denied media reports that the company laid off some staff to cut costs, the marketplace said in a statement on Tuesday.

 “The company is not firing massively, it continues to recruit staff for the new logistics facilities, its IT laboratory, and other teams,” Ozon said.

The company plans to open facilities in 2022 and plans that its logistics infrastructure will grow by at least a third in a year.
